Automobile Window Tinting
A Sleek New Look. Maximum Comfort
Stand Out, Ride Comfortably
With automotive window tint becoming increasingly popular every day, its rare to see a vehicle out and about that doesn’t have tint of some kind on its windows. But why is that? Turns out, aside from looking really good, window tint has some good benefits. Let’s talk about a few of them and see if we can help you make your decision.
Inside Temperature Drop and Stability: Installing window tint on your vehicle will drop the vehicles interior temperature as well as helping to stabilize the temperature and keep the inside cooler. Some types of window tint, like dyed tint, will absorb the sun’s harmful rays and keeping much of the heat from reaching your cars interior. Window tints, such as ceramic tint, actually contain small particles of ceramic inside the film itself that, unlike dyed tints, will reflect the sun’s rays which will also ad to keeping the vehicle cooler inside. Some Nano Ceramic tint that we use has a 99% UVR (UltraViolet Radiation) rating. Simply put, that is just a fancy way of saying that tint will block out 99% of the sun’s harmful rays which translates to a vehicle that is not nearly as hot inside!
Privacy: This is one of the main reasons for most people today having window tint installed on their vehicle. Depending on how dark you are comfortable with taking it, the sky is the limit when it comes to privacy inside your vehicle. This is where the “percentage” comes in play that you will hear most people talking about. This is the VLT rating(or pecentage). VLT is the tint Visible Light Transmittance or simply “how much light it allows through”. If you go with a lower number VLT, it becomes harder for anyone to see inside your vehicle when on the outside. On the contrary, while inside, you will be able to see them just fine!
Protection: With a good quality window tint film that is properly installed, comes protection for your cars interior. Over time with the sun bearing down all day long, eventually, its going to start to take a toll on your vehicles interior. Thinks like cracking, fading, and drying to your cars interior, especially with leather, can happy faster than you think. Tinting your windows will not only slow the process but actually protect against it. However there is another type of protection that some people are unaware of. There are some types of tint that, in the event of a burglary or accident where the window is cracked or broken, will help to hold the window together until you can have it fixed or replaced. Thats not only protecting your vehicle but YOU as well!
